The story

During the holiday of Bartermoot, traders from the little towns and the people of the Wood meet in uneasy peace to trade steel for lumber, with the Marchguard keeping the peace. Yet beneath the revelry something dark stirs: animals sicken, fish float stained orange, and children come running from the river with news of a body. A standalone adventure of disease, duty and decay at the edge of Tegny Wood.

A one-session forestcrawl for three to six characters: a festival clearing and its market, a broken dam, a grove that bleeds, a circle of stones with a tiny guardian, an overgrown tower wrapped in ivy, a gazebo that sighs, a fork in the path where the air shimmers, a ruined workshop on a hill, and the sound of bells and falling trees, coming closer.
