The story
The Flame burns again on Harrow Tor, but the Keeper has been reading the Vigil’s oldest roll, and the founders of Bellwick made two promises, not one. The buyer who signed himself R. is still out there, and a black barge has come back to the Oxbow landing. Follow it down the river to a collector’s house full of strange things, then up into an old wood where it is winter all year round, and find out what the founders hid there before someone with money and very little time takes it.
A two- or three-session 5E compatible (SRD 5.1) adventure for four or five heroes of 2nd to 4th level, the follow-on to The Vigil at Harrow Tor: a river barge with a hard crew, a rich man’s house where the furniture bites, a webbed hollow, a field of ice and old stones, guardians who can be talked to, and a fight in the snow by firelight.
