The story

Hollin is a tidal island of fishers and salt-pans, joined to the mainland by a road of stones that the sea covers twice a day. Every seventh winter, at the Long Tide, its keeper carries a crown of bone and sea-glass to the old stones on the seaward point, and the sea leaves the island be. This is the seventh winter. Two mornings ago the keeper was found dead in her bolted tide-house, and the crown was gone. A tide-warden, a hedge-witch, a ferry-runner and a disgraced antiquary have three nights to find out what happened, and what the sea will do if nobody pays.

A one- or two-session folk mystery with a mythic heart, based on Fate Core System, for three or four pre-made heroes: an inquest in a fog-bound inn, a locked tide-house, a silent storm tide, a race across the sands against the incoming sea, and a night at the standing stones when the Long Tide comes in.
